How come my PS3 won't show up on my tv

My PS3 is that model that plays ps2 games and it won't show up on my tv anymore it turns on theirs no yellow light and I've tried all those trick of turning it on and holding the button for two beeps and one I even tried the reset option when you hold it for three beeps and then plug out then back in but nothing happens I even tried my PS4 hdmi cord to see if hdmi would work nothing works is their a way Sony could fix it if I gave it to them or a way I could get the same model by trading mine in?
