lenovo R61i Boot up problem?

I have a lenovo R61i that i have thrown down for a while and when i try turning it on it boots on lenovo and turn off back and when i touch the power button to turn it on no response.... I disassemble the lop top clean it up and heat the board and assemble it back and it was the same problem....but what i recognize happening to it now is when i disconnect the keyboard it boot up into the bios and stay on and as soon as i connect the keyboard it shot off

Sounds like the keyboard is bad. Fro your description would assume that is is shorting something on the board. Check both connectors for bent or damaged contacts. If that fails you will need a new keyboard. Good luck!
