Mac Air late 2010 does not turn on

Power Adaptor is connected, charging is normal (orange light is lighted on the adaptor connector).

No signs of life and no welcome chime after I press Power button, except for the cooling fan turning on after a minute.

PRAM reset (Command-Option_P-R keys pressed) and SMC reset (Shift-Option-Command-Power on buttons depressed then released) have not helped.

Any other ideas, guys?

Orange light turned green after 2 hours. So it's a good battery and charger.

Can you give us some background here on what this system has encountered. Like did it get a bang or get wet as some point? Was the system running and then shut it's self off?

I last used the laptop 2 weeks ago and kept it in the storage drawer.. Now, it is kaput. No one touched it for the duration it was stored.

Dead systems on the most part need one to test for voltagages from the battery to the different power rails on the logic board.

You'll need access to the schematics, can read them, as well as have the needed tools to probe the logic board. For most, this is beyond a DIY job. Sorry :-{
