iPhone does not turn on

My iphone 6s has a new screen and battery.

When it was given back to me in the shop, it was working but within seconds the screen went blank and has never turned back on since.

And advice would be useful before i pay for more repairs that dont resolve my problem.

Will I lose all information on the phone if a new logic board is installed?

Why should you pay for any additional repairs. You brought your phone into the shop to have a screen replaced and it failed within the hour.

Go back to the shop and have the phone looked at again. The screen they used may be defective (it happens some times) and it should be covered under their warranty. That's why it's important to go to reputable shops.

I used timpsons. Its not a screen or battery fault as both work on another 6s i have

Why did your phone fail the first time? Maybe we need to understand the root problem.

@refectio got the question first, lol...figured I'd edit and just leave it :) @zeldario Was it working before their repair? What happened that made you change the battery when you had the screen replaced?

Was there a drop that cracked screen and not used until after the repair?

Leave us a little history to determine if it's an unrelated issue or related to the repair. Ty

The phone wouldnt turn on and the screen had a crack in it so I got it replaced.

The shop said the battery was damaged so they replaced that too

The phone worked for day and went off again. It would not connect to my macbook or show any signs of charging when plugged in.

I went back to the shop and they worked on the phone, returning it the same day in working order again.

A couple of days later it went off again.

I was working away from home so couldnt go back to the same shop and needed the phone for work so I went to Timpsons. I collected it and they had replaced the screen and the phone was on and working. Before i left the shop it went off again.

The shop attendant didnt have time to take the new screen back out so gave me a refund and left the new screen in the phone.

The phone has not turned back on since and wont connect to Itunes

Alright, that makes sense...there were a few gaps in the story :>).

Clearly, you have a logic board issue. Hard to say exactly as the phone does work...sometimes and new screens seem to revive it. Ultimately, it has to be looked at by a micro-solderer to see what is causing the problem.

first of all. plug the iPhone to PC. check if it's recognized by iTunes. if iTunes can see it then download itools to your PC. and see if there is display from the mirror in itools. work around the iPhone screen if the touch is responding.

let us know after that.
