Bosch Heat Pump dryer WTW87565AU Error Code F:06

Hi, I have error F:06 on the Bosch heat pump dryer WTW87565AU. Does anyone have the service manual for it? I have service manual for the non heat pump version WTV76100US which is very similar, but the error seems to be for the air circuit which is different in this model. There doesn't seem to be a thermostat for starters, but a temperature probe connected to the compressor. I'm not sure what to check to resolve the error code.

Ok separated out the control board and checked each connection, they all seem to be properly connected. Used multimeter to check continuity, all connections seem fine.

So looking for thermostats, found 2 - there is presumably a NTC above the front of the tumbler, resistance 176 ohms slowing rising if connected to 9V multimeter. There is another thermostat on the coolant pipe near the compressor, reads 8940 ohms. I think it is for the temperature of the returning coolant from the cooling circuit.

Checked the door switch too, circuit open if door open, circuit closed if door closed.

An update that I have found the manuals on another site, Google for these files:

F:06 is “Fault in heating circuit”, and could be caused by “Over temperature detection of compressor activated”, and the suggestion is to “Check air routes, compressor function and compressor control; replace damaged parts”.

The F6 E2 error code indicates a communication error between the control boards. Often times this is caused by a connection issue rather than a part failure. There are screws on the rear of the top panel that secure the top on. Once removed, the top will slide back and come off to be set aside. Once the top is off, you will have access to the machine controls. WITH THE MACHINE UNPLUGGED, remove each connector, one at a time, and replace into the control. This will rectify any connection issue if there is one. Plug the machine back in and see if the code returns.

@mayer you sure? I thought it was an NTC error....

@oldturkey03 no I'm not sure. I'm not up to date on heat pump machines. If you have a more knowledgeable answer, please post it

@mayer those are similar to condensation dryers (ventless) I do not have that particular models manual yet but a Bosch fault code of F:06 on other condensation dryer shows as NTC error. I just was not sure if you had more info on this particular model. Still looking into it.

Thanks @mayer and @oldturkey03. Yeah I did check the control board, nothing looked loose or burnt. I will replug the connectors next weekend and see if it helps. There is an empty socket on the control board, I presume that's normal. The NTC is a thermostat right? There isn't one below the tumbler as shown in the WTV76100US manual which is a conventional condensation dryer, I think the heat pump version might not use a NTC. I have watched videos explaining how heat pump dryers work in principle, but unsure how the temperature control circuit works in this particular case. Surely it needs to detect the temperature of the load to know when to stop?
