Yeah. Should be safe. The updates should only handle the essential apps and programs

Just inquiring I have a few apps downloaded from independent web sites... That give you free things that Google... Android... Verizon... Would not offer
Sure. Totally get it. Like I said should be fine. Those updates should be made by the company that made the app
