The startup splash screen flashes and then the tv turns off

I have this TV that was given to hoever when trying to power on the screen flashes with the lg logo then immediately turns off. The picture looks fine with no distortion and the th makes no weird noises. The power supply seems to be working fine and I have even tried baking the main board but I had no success fixing the problem. Has anyone heard of this problem or know where I should look to fix this TV?
