No sign of Life
Hello Everyone!
Hope U all Doing well.
I have a dslr canon 100D which is not turning on . i have tried every trick on it but it was useless. finally i decided to open it myself. coz i cant afford to get it fixed from the canon.
thr are two boards in this camera. one is infront of the camera. which is called the pcb board or Dc Flash board, and second one on the back is the Main board.
a tiny flex cable which connects these board together . was burned from the one side. which was fixed in the PCB flash board. .. jack on the board where this cable sets. was burned aswell.
now i have order a new pcb flash board& flex cable.
but one of my friend told me .. this was a short circuit and there are chances you might need to change your main board aswell. ... so i want to know . is thr anyway to test these boards to findout which one is faulty .. both boards. or i just need to replace the pcb board.
Last and the most important Question.
A tiny Switch .. Located next to the battery and Sd card slot. which tells the camera that battery door is closed. (if it gets broken) what are the possible consequences & outcomes.
Any Help or Suggestions will be Highly Appreciated .
And im sorry if i made any mistakes writing english . im still learning .
Thanks.

Thank you sir.. I'm uploading a picture which clearly shows the damage on the board jack. Please review it n share your expertise with me. I will be glad. And I asked about the switch which tells the camera that the battery door is closed. That switch got broken but I got it replaced from a camera.shop.. But I think it is not properly fixed. Please let me know if thr is anyway to test it. If its working perfectly or not.. Thanks
