Screen had white shadows after replacement

Hello. I got my screen replaced at Timpsons, but then realised that there are some white shadowing at the left bottom corner and on the side (more visible when the screen/photo is dark in that place), when the screen is white i can see like some greyish shadows all over the screen. I gave the phone back to them twice to fix it, but they say that everything is fine and didnt fix it. Any ideas what is wrong with it? Is is a fake screen on or did they damaged it while replacing it?

Thanks

It looks to me like a low quality replacement screen, specifically the backlight. There is also a coloured bar on the left which doesn't look right.

I would go back to the shop and insist for a proper repair or reimbursement (by installing your original screen - then looking for a reputable shop that stands behind their repairs).

That coloured bar on the left is from the screen protector that they put on not really in the right place, cause it's like not actually covering 1mm of the actual screen if you know what I mean. After trying to fix it twice I asked for a full refund, but i got only half price. I am trying to deal with customer service but don't know if they will help :/

I guess that's a lesson learned...sadly.

Agree with Mino, but if they don't help and it bothers you, just save it as a backup future emergency screen and buy another... screen cost are as low as $25 to $30 and up. I've purchased good acceptable quality screens off Amazon for $26 for 6s for customers that had to save $ and they worked great with a 30 day money back guarantee.

Backlight problem. Faulty screen and/or they damaged your motherboard lcd connector.

I agree with what sheep said, but I've also seen this problem occur when there is frame damage which is highly unlikely but something else to check. See if the shadows are still there when the screen is just placed on the top of the phone, not snapped in . If they are I'd try a new screen, if that doesn't work then the LCD connector on the logicboard is probably damaged.

The problem with aftermarket copy screens is there inability to have a bright backlight. Check out this post on how to spot a fake iPhone screen
