Samsung LN46C6400 46 inch LCD LED TV
My picture is perfect but yesterday the sound went off. When I use the remote to change sound level or to mute the sound, nothing shows on the screen.

Tim Davidson first you want to check your menu to make sure that it is set for the TV speaker. If everything is proper then you want to disconnect everything from your TV. Cable, HDMI etc. Remove it all, then unplug your set for something like 10min. After that plug it back in and see if you see/hear something now. If not, connect an external speaker/sound system and see if that works. If it does not then you may have issues with the main board or the audio amp IC on your set. You also want to verify your TV model number. I do not show anything with the listed model. Post an image of the sticker on the back of your TV with your question. It will help us to help you.
