Water damage from submerging.

I sat in a river with my camera in my pocket. No LCD screen now. It sounds like it is taking pictures since I dried it out, but nothing transfers to the memory card. Is it repairable, or am I better off replacing the camera?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@ed_page57 you could try an resurrect your camera. For now you do not want to try to turn it on at all. You will have to disassemble the complete camera. Use these guides as well as this video for that. Once it is disassembled you must clean all of the parts with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush. Follow something like this guide to see how to clean it. Even so the guide was written for a cellphone, all the points apply to your camera as well. After that you want to reassemble it and use a new battery to see if you had success with it.
