I'm using my phone as my music source when I turn up the phone and turn up the volume the receiver goes into protect mode and turns off

@love4life does your receiver do the same if you use a different source?

@love4life the protect circuit usually activates at high volume when the connected speakers have a lower impedance than specified. So try a different source and validate your speakers.
