Can I replace my LCD screen or repair it?

The outer part of the screen is intact but the inside is cracked. Also before this happened my screen used to flicker and when I need to reinstall windows I can't see what I am doing.

Faian Jamil, if your LCD is cracked I believe that you will definely have to replace it. As for the issues that you had prior to this, it could be a bad inverter a bad backlight and/or bad cable. You will have to reasses this when you have a known goodworking screen. The LCD is available here http://www.blisscomputers.net/acer-exten... and multiple other places. Good luck.

If the screen is cracked, you cannot repair it. The screen has to be replaced and it's easy to do.

All you have to do, is remove the screen bezel and disconnect the screen.

They best way would be to replace the screen by using a service manual or online tutorials. You can order new screen online using Amazon or eBay.
