Do I have a ghost in my receiver?

My TV and home theater had been working fine, now the tv switches itself to Input 2 (Samsung Home Theater) and the tray for the DVD goes in and out. I can put it back on what I'm watching (Input 1) and it's okay for 5 seconds to 20 minutes and happens again. I get the message that there's no disk in the HT / disk player. This was the top of the line (and most expensive) Samsung HT that they made when I bought it in late 2013. Samsung phone support was no help. I'm not even really sure if the problem is in the TV or the receiver or both; I suspect just the receiver since it keeps indicating it wants a disk, and the tray opens and closes by itself. On input 2 - the home theater - I see the screen on the home theater that is known as "the hub," from where I push the button for the receiver to go the next input and it goes to the input for the TV, and the TV works fine...but not for long. (If I push "enter" on the hub, it shows me the screen for the 'smart TV', such as Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc.
