Wondering Quality Of iPod 4th gen

Okay, so. I recently lost my ipod at a concert and I was looking to find a new one.

Since Im low on money The ipod touch 4th gen is an ipod I've been looking at for some time.

I just had a few questions about the quality and such

1. Is the camera good quality? I don't care to much about this but just wondering

2. Is youtube bad quality? Or is it updated

3. Games on the app store, are most downloadable? Im only asking this cause of the old version of it

4. How is the sound quality with and without headphones

Objectively

Hmmm...by todays standards the camera quality on the iPod T4 is pretty low:

  • Rear Camera - 0.7 MP backside illuminated CMOS image sensor with video (720p HD at 30 fps) and 0.7 MP photos
  • Front Camera - 0.3 MP (VGA) photos and video at up to 30 fps

As for Youtube, I guess you mean the screen resolution - 3.5 in (89 mm), 3:2 aspect ratio, 16,777,216-color (18-bit + FRC), glossy glass-covered LED-backlit TN LCD, 960 × 640 px at 326 ppi, 800:1 contrast ratio.

Finally, the IPT4 is limited to iOS 6.1.6 so there will be many games and apps that will not work on this version.

The good news is that the audio will be essentially the same as every other device. You can follow this link to compare all of the specs.

Subjectively

Depending on what you do, it can still be a great device for the price. You can also look at older iPhone models such as the iPhone 4S or even the 5, which will be inexpensive and have much better specs.

I have the iPod 4. The camera is not good but not bad. There are very very few apps/games you can download. You can still download any song. Youtube is not updated. Bing doesnt support the ipod 4 anymore (because it is so old) . i recommend you get at least the iPod 5 because you cant do much with the ipod 4 and its not worth the money. Getting the ipod 5 may cost more but is a LOT better in the long run.
