Bottom quarter of screen bad after replacement

I just replaced the front panel assembly after breaking my screen. When I boot up, the bottom quarter or so of the screen is bad--only black or vertical blue or green lines. Can someone help me diagnose the problem and suggest a fix? Many thanks.

would you mind throwing a picture of the screen up? from the sounds of it, you could have a few different possible failures, and an image will help narrow it down.

Your screen is damaged, there's a big impact point in the bottom right corner. You will need to get a new screen unfortunately.
