Why can't I boot from CD?

Hi all,

I am having problems booting from a Windows CD.

First of all, my laptop was interrupted doing a restoring, as it was plugged out of the charger with no battery inside. It starts up fine in the beginning, but then it shown "installing 64%", which was as far as it got with the restore. Then it keeps restarting after that.

I wanted to boot from a CD, to make the laptop work again, but I can't make it boot.

I have entered the BIOS and made sure that the CD has highest priority. When I dave and exit, it just continues restarting like before mentioned. What should I do to make it boot?

I hope you are able to help me!

Look for a message "Press enter Key..." when the Lenovo splash screen comes up after restarting. Press F12 to get to the boot menu, select boot source. You may have to do this a couple of times to get it to boot to CD.
