Memory module could be fried?

I took my tablet in to be fixed. It will show the Samsung logo, and the batery icon but that is it. They said it was the menory module was fried... what does this mean and how do I fix it? I can get it into Odin mode, but when I try to connect it to the computer, it is not recognized. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

ODin Mode requires Samsung USB Drivers for the PC.

You can download them here:

http://developer.samsung.com/galaxy/othe...

If it then recognizes the phone on the PC, then download the appropriate Samsung firwmare and ODIN from https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/

You can follow these instructions to reflash, but use the sammobile firmware.

https://androidmtk.com/flash-samsung-sto...

Try each available version of firmware if the first one you download isn't successful.

If none of them work, your tablet may have other issues on the motherboard.
