My touch id is not working after opening screen

I fix phones on the side, so one guy came to me with some speaker issues so i opened up the phone just to check how easy it is to replace before i order something i closed the phone back up and now the touch ID is not working, home button works fine but not the touch id.

I reopened phone to check for pinched ribbon cable but everything looks good. What could be the issue?

Heat gun/heat pad was not used to open. But i did use the iSclack to open.

Edit: Extreme caution was taken to open the iPhone. I opened it like a laptop the screen was held up just past 90 degree. This was my first time opening an iPhone 7
