BLU Energy XL jumping randomly to google search screen - please help!

For no reason and randomly, whether when it is idle or in the middle of my typing, it jumps to the google search screen (search box - meaning com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.search) and displays the google keyboard.

It makes it almost impossible to use the phone. I've tried everything, flashing previous stock roms, disabling google apps, etc (could not root the BLU Energy XL though) with no success. I did recorded in video this crazy behaviour, it is like my phone is possessed. Android 5.1 build BLU_E0030UU_V05_APS 20-12-2016 11:09

I also flashed V02 and V03 which have the same problem

Can provide screen captures and video to help identify and narrow the problem
