LCD Full Assembly Sensor?

After I replaced the screen, I noticed that Auto-Brightness is not working. Does the screen come with the ambient light sensor, or do I need to move that from the old screen?

The front camera assembly has the ambient light sensor for auto brightness.

I would assume that the one that comes on the preassembled screen is no good resulting in a faulty front camera assembly.

In this case you will need to use the existing front camera assembly from the old screen transferred onto the new screen. Make sure you also transfer the plastic gaskets for a better fit.

There's a small piece of black tape that sits in between the glass and the proximity sensor, make sure that is in place.

Without it you'll have light sensor problems and your screen won't blank out during calls so you will press buttons with your face.

If you threw it out with the old LCD then use a thin strip of electrical tape to replace it.

Make sure you don't cover the proximity sensor with tape though.
