Why is my replacement screen yellow?

Hi,

I replaced my iPhone 6 screen but there is a thick orange strip covering the top right third of the screen. Is this temporary caused by something pushing against the screen, or is it due to permanent damage to the LCD?

Thanks, Ralph.

It's most likely pressure mark due to something pushing against the screen under. Usually it's battery, misaligned back metal plate for screen or a dented frame not allowing the screen to sit on properly to frame.
