Sounds like a kernel panic, I had about 9 months ago on my MacBook.

It could be easy to fix, or in my case I needed to reformat the hard drive and reinstall the OS.

Anyways first off, did you upgrade the ram? If so try putting the old ram back in and restart.

If the ram trick dosen't work use these apple articles:

Mac OSX 10.5

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?...

Mac OSX 10.4

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?...

Mac OSX 10.3 & Earlier

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1411

You may also want to take a look at this article (more complex)

Hope This Helps!

Before signing the hard drives death certificate, do the target mode and see if Disk Utilities will see it, if so repair it.

That failing, here's how to replace the IDE drive: iBook G4 14" 933 MHz-1.33 GHz Hard Drive Replacement

Ok , i have recieved your answer and first of all i want to thank you for that.

well, i haven't change anything in my computer, it's a 768 ko of RAM, never been chnaged, the hard disk is a 60 G and never changed, and the OS X is leopard.

when i try to start in T mode i have the good symbol in my computer ( firewire and batterie indications) but nothing appears in the second computer.

moreover i cannot put any CD because the disk reader doesn'nt want to accept it...

i wonder if it is a hard disk total failure???

regards
