Hp desktop motor running hard but not booting up...?

Froze during Windows update, now motor runs and won't boot up. I've shut it down and tried reboot and I've unplugged. Motor sounds like it's stuck in some kind of loop

mrbrez25, Possible failed hard drive. Try a hard reset: Turn off the computer completely, disconnect the power cord from the back of the computer. With the power off and the power cord disconnected, press the power button on the computer for 15 seconds. The power light indicator on or near the power button might turn on briefly but then go out. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the power and try turning on.

No go, try reseating the ram(1st link) to see if it possibly lost connection, turn computer off, unplug, remove ram sticks and reinstall just one stick and see if powers on and repeat for each stick to determine if bad stick of ram is possible fault. 2nd,3rd links may be helpful, HP troubleshooting Computer Does Not Start and Computer Does Not Start and Emits an LED or Beep Code. $th link is a HP trouble shooting vid. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
