My Samsung Camera WB850F camera is not reliable for changing the settings. I often have to turn it past the desired setting and come back to it.
It also comes with a GPS statement when I am on another setting.
I feel it needs a cleaning and maintenance to perhaps tighten buttons, etc.
I love my camera and would like to keep it functioning well. RVD

@reta this sounds like your camera is having issues with the CMOS settings power supply. I believe this camera uses capacitors that are being charged from the main battery to maintain routine settings like time/data etc. If you are experiencing intermittent issues with that I would start out by getting a new battery. You also want to make sure that you have the most recent firmware for your camera. Page 121 of the user manual will tell you how to do that. Check on here for that.
