Boot Loop after Battery Replacement

After replacing the Battery of my iPad it is stuck in a Boot Loop when connecting the charging cable. The Apple Logo appears for about 20 seconds and then it turns off. Then the logo appears again and it turns off again.

When I replace the new battery with the old one the iPad turns on without any problem and I can use it without problems.

Any suggestions how to fix this problem?

Thanks,

Stefan

If the iPad works with the old battery and not the replacement one, then you likely have a defective replacement batterie. There are lot's of low quality batteries on the market. Contact your supplier and ask for a replacement or refund.

Hi,

thanks for you speedy reply.

I bought the battery here on fixit as I thought this should be good quality.

Could it be that the battery is so empty that it does`t have enough power to start the iPad?

Is there any chance to charge the new battery?

Thanks,

They are supposed to ship the batteries with less than 30% charge (not sure if this is true for ground shipments though) so it is possible it is fully depleted. What charge brick are you using? If it is just connected to a computer or iPhone brick, it will not do. You need the iPad brick or something of quality that give 2A of juice.

Hi Minho,

I am using the original iPad charger with a brand new original lightning cable .

Do you think it will charge if I leave it on the charger over night even if the boot loop is running all night?

Thanks,

Stefan

Just charge it and wait like 30 minutes or an hour and then turn it on.I have an ipad and whend it have 0 or 1 percent of wnergy if i try to turn it on it turn down fast or make a "loop".Check the spect of your product to see if it is the same voltage as the old one , if yes then maybe a more powerful charger may achieve the trick.
