voltage output of a battery connector

hi:

is there any standard voltage output thats come out from battery connector (ex: i5c or i5s)

cause i measured battery connector that is placed on iphone 5c pcb with multimeter , and result was 1 Volt and sometimes even less ,not stable , can any body tell me how does U2 charge a battery with 3.7 volt by a voltage output from battery connector equal to 1v and less ???

The U2 (Tristar) IC is not the charging IC per se. It is responsible for communicating with anything connected to the Lightning port. Once it identifies that there is a charging device, it is the PMIC and the Power MOSFET that actually "charge" (deliver the current) the battery. When the battery is charging, the connector is delivering 4.2V to the battery.

Not sure if this answers your question. Let me know if you need more details.

yes that was helpful thanks , but when i connect usb charge to lightning port which gives usually 5v and then measuring voltage on battery connector "when battery is out" iam getting 1v and less , and not 4.2v !!

should i connect battery to have 4.2v on connector ?
