Screen Not showing colors properly; Maybe Broken

Yesterday, when I tried to open my laptop, the display didn't show things properly. Everything had distorted color. I don't know the reason behind this. Any help?

Please tell us your exact machine as there known issues on different models. Also please post a couple of photos of the entire display so we can be sure of the orientation.
