Boots fine without top screen, dead with it.

It boots just fine with the top screen disconnected but it's dead with a blue light when the screen is connected.

I've been trying to work out what is wrong with this thing all day, there is no visible damage to the screen, ribbon or the connector on the board, but for some reason, it just will not work.

Any ideas?

It does the same thing on the other bottom half I have, I have run out of ideas.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

That's weird, it shouldn't normally boot without the screen. Get a new screen if it does not boot on both motherboards
