There is no sound when playing videos
I played it on my laptop and on the camera and there is still no sound

If there is no sound play on laptop could be the record video with HEVC (H.265)cos contains an unsupported audio codec cos your video player play without sound. In this case, You can using a third-party video conversion app such as Pavtube Video Converter for Windows/Mac to convert any not supported video/audio codec to media player including Windows Media Player, VLC, Media Player Classic, etc recognized audio codec.
But your video even play on camera with no sound. It's likely shooting problems, check the shooting audio settings , make sure it turns on.
