My Xiaomi MI4A cannot connect to 4G network.
When i first bought the phone it (4G network) worked perfectly but now it is forever on edge (E). how do I activate 4G network on my Xiaomi MI4A cell phone?
I've turned it on and off many times, I've rebooted it many times too, I've dialed *#*#64663#*#* and it also doesn't work, all in the effort to try and fix my network problem.

Are you using a major carrier in your area? If not the carrier may not have access to the towers. As an example AT&T may have a cross-license agreement with Boost Mobile access to their cell tower network as Boost may not have towers around you. This license may have expired.
Using a second phone see if your SIM will work with it.
Its possible the radio circuit within the phone has failed if your SIM works in a second phone correctly.

Yes I am using a major carrier in my area soooooooo I think that rules off the carrier not having access to the towers...
When I insert my sim card into another phone it works perfectly fine with a good 4G connection. Perhaps the radio circuit could be fried? But what could cause that? Do you perhaps know of a Xaomi Customer service centre in South Africa? If there is something like that
