Touch ID Flex Cable Tore

Hello I was fixing the screen on my iPhone and being a bit too excited i tore the touch id flex cable not the one on the home button but the one that connects the button to the motherboard on a metal plate If i replace this will touch id still work

Yeah, absolutely. If for some reason Touch ID doesn't come back, then the cable is the issue. I.e. Bad cable. If everything with the home button is just fine

Yeah, if it's just that cable, then you're good to go

that cable is just an extension from the home button to the motherboard. if the home button is good touch ID and function will be working good.

It doesn't come back because the flex cable is linked to the main board and so switching thecable will block the use of touch id
