Replacement screen isn't working..

My screen was broken and I started replacing it and I tested it before I fully put it together and after I was done putting it together the charge symbol isn't showing, I don't know what to do, I've done the holding home and lock button and tried various other things but still nothing

Hi,

Did you unplug the battery before the repair?

If not, you may have blown the backlight, try testing it with your old screen to see if there's any signs of life.

If your backlight is blown, you'll need someone who can microsolder to fix it. :-)

It was actually dead when I took it off and worked before I fully installed the new screen. Like I attached it to the phone and plugged it in to check the screen worked and it did, I fixed it tho by unscrewing the screws at the top where the camera and earpiece is so... Yea aha, fixed it, thank you to
