Won't boot any application at all

Hei, i am using mid 2009 macbook pro.

I have this problem, I put my mac on sleep, and forgot to charge it. It dropped to zero.

When I want to boot the mac, I succeeded till the desktop, but I cannot start any application, such as; finder, safari, and so on.

I've tried reboot, repair disk, restart the smc and pram. But nothing works, can someone offer me solution.

Many thanks

Did you allow the battery to charge back up?

Yes. It is already full when I tried all those method. Including the safe boot.

Try booting in safe mode.

This is done by hitting the power button and then holding down command and s at the same time until it boots.

Sorry i was wrong for safe mode. Try the safemode key combo on that site. Also try the hardware test and see how that goes.

If it still doesn't work, you might need to do a factory reset. But that is a last resort so try these first.

Try it in a different mode to see if that helps.
