Getting a paper jam error

When I turn on printer, display says clear paper jam and touch ok. Did a little troubleshooting myself and discovered that the paper feed roller are not dropping down on the paper in tray(1). Is there a way to release rollers??

I have the same problem. Found a video that explains the issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMFW1RRl... Paper Jam being caused by a cracked or broken gear. I checked my printer and found that the gear is broken. I found a replacement gear on Ebay for $15. http://www.ebay.com/itm/132016225520 Should arrive Monday. I'll let you know if that solves the issue.
