1 How to restore the laptop
I had it for a year and 4 months and the computer had a virus to I fixed that part of it and I purchased the recovery disks for the laptop and it is not working and I purchased the floor model and it came with absolutely nothing. I want to sell my computer and I can't with it the way that it is. PLease help me

Stacy, not sure if this is still an issue. When you said you fixed it, how did you fix it? What operating system do you have and what restore disk did you purchase? I would think that you will need A) the proper operating system B) all the drivers for your laptop in order to restore it. I am not sure on the Gateway but sometimes the hard drive contains a partition (usually D:) where you might find the OS. Let us know more about your issues if it is still a problem.
