iPhone Dead after screen replacement

HI Everyone

I run home computer repair business and have recently branched out into doing screen repairs also. I was doing a screen replacement today on an Iphone 6 and now the phone is completely dead. doesnt charge, not recognized by computer either. I have done plenty of these repairs without any issues and I'm completely stumped.

I always follow the Ifixit repair guides when doing iphones.

I can assure you that no screws have been put in wrong holes, cables are connected properly.

I have tried connecting the old screen with no luck.

anyone any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Ok. Without the battery being connected, and the display assembly connected, and the Lightning dock connected, plug it into charger. Do you get flashing white Apple logo?

I have also tried this with the old screen.

So at this point the phone is getting no power. Try a different lightning dock, and if that doesn't take, you'll have to go after u2ic. Which requires microsoldering. Which requires tools, and experience

by

yeah I have ordered another lightning dock thanks for the advice .

question why would u2ic become faulty as the phone was on when the customer brought it to me I turned it off and detached the battery before repair
