The screen on my K7 has a small crack in the top r.h. corner, but no other damage. I can turn on the phone but the touch screen doesnt allow me to navigate through the phone apps, settings, etc. the touch screen doesnt work. what is wrong with the screen

Honestly, this is a bit weird for lg phones. Usually they can have cracks, but still work. Some phones, like moto x will do this. Anyways, you need a new display. LCD and digitizer glass. Not a complicated repair
