Why are my apps force closing constantly?

When I go to setting and into apps ,all my apps are forced closed all the time. I need some to run in the background like macafee security and a call blocker but as soon as I exit them they're closed. Is there a way to fix this?

If I understand correctly, the problem is not Android force closing apps because of low memory (which would be showing the app not responding message constantly). It is that nothing continues to run in the background, because the system takes the liberty of "force closing" apps when you simply exit them or swipe them from the recent apps screen.

I believe the problem has to do with the software that ships with the phone. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to change this setting, and without unlocking the bootloader and installing a custom ROM, we're probably stuck.

The best thing for app closing issues is to try to force reboot the Phone by holding down the Power button and Home button until the device flashes the logo. Then let it boot back up and try to use the app again, it should work… if not keep reading on
