I drove my cart over a stick I didn't realize was attached to a larger branch, and somehow it disconnected the pedal. Now I need to know what to reach in and try to reconnect. Is there a diagram somewhere? The cart is currently stranded on a path in the woods above my house, and winter is coming.....

@vxseanjohnxv ,Sean, Check all batteries for full charge(replace if batteries will not charge/hold charge) and that the wires/connections are clean/tight and undamaged. There are a few other things that may cause this issue faulty solenoid, key switch, micro switch, faulty motor,etc.. Find links below 1st and 2nd link are trouble shooting links for your issue and the 3rd link is a service manual with trouble shooting/testing components. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

Hi, we are having the exact same issue with our cart did you find a solution?

by

Check if it is actually charging. When you reset the system with the switch under the seat, the charge meter resets to show full charge but, it may not not be fully charged at all.

Carburettors do not have brushes. Carburettors are on gas carts. Brushes are for electric carts.

Carbuerator brushes where my issue

There is no carburettor on an electric cart. Carburettors supply a mixture of fuel and air to the engine in a petrol engine.

If you had brushes fitted it would be an electric cart.

2013 Yamaha electric golf cart push the gas pedal real slow and the car will go but if I push it fast to the floor the cart would just shut down and I have to disconnect the battery or disconnect a controller switch and reconnect it to reset itself

You can reset the system with the rocker switch under the seat on the back wall high up. it is a little hard to see. Turn it off for a few seconds and back on again.

This has the same effect as disconnecting a battery lead but much eisier.
