Is the connection between battery and the board definitely damaged?

Hi, in an attempt to solve a problem with the on/off button I tried to disconnect the battery from the board, but it looks like something went really wrong.

A technician told me I can just throw my phone in the bin. Do someone in the iFixit network have any suggestion to still save my phone? Here a detailed photo:

Yeah i think it's done, could use the parts for my phone though. Mostly just need the coax cable.
