Can I deattach the battery on an iPhone 6 when its over 25% charged?

Hi. Can I deattach the battery from the phone when the battery is charged over 25% or does it matter

Yes you can.

Just use plastic tools, NOT metal.

To be clear you need to unplug the battery from the connector on the logic board first. Personally I use my nails to unplug (just don't pry under the whole battery connector).

Plastic tools like a spudger works too (Better to use this if you don't do iPhones a lot).

You should always stop all power sources from phone before performing any hardware repair. If you don't for a screen replacement you may end up blowing up a backlight filter on the board causing no backlight issue (Display but very dim image) which you really do not want.

Yeah it's ok but try to use plastic tools to avoid short circuiting and problems for other components.
