They are two resistors used for the reverse voltage protection for PPVBUS, pretty sure you are going to need that:

To avoid issues with charging circuit.

R5705 is an 100 kiloohm resistor while R5706 is a 10 kiloohm resistor.

Thank you very much. Where can I get these, without buying a whole board?

by

Usually at a place called mauser (not sure exactly what it's called) and digikey online.

by

I'll give it a shot, thank you!

I think those two spots use the same resistor, the 100K and 10K is just what the resistance between two points on the board should be.

Now if Minho would come and verify this that would be huge help. I would wait for his response before ordering those resistors.

So are these capacitors or resistors? also the schematic you attached shows the numbers as R5705 and R5706 as opposed to R7505 and R7506.

If you have access to old, donor boards, you could harvest them. Otherwise, order them from Digikey.com or Mouser.com

You can get the 100K resistor here:

You can get the 10K resistor here:

I hope you realize that you are also missing C8191 which is very important.

Hi Minho,

Thank you for your response and the links.

I don't have old boards, so I need to buy them.

I removed C8191 because 1 of those resistors went under it while I was trying to save it lol and then it got lost again lol.

Those things are tiny :-|

Can I power up an iPad board with the DC Power Supply with OR without the battery being connected?

by

You can connect a power supply to the battery terminals or if you use a charge cable, a battery needs to be connected.

Thank you Minho.
