auto shut down during booting and os loading

i know my title stink but i have been having this problem lately i will start up my mac first thing it is ask me for is to change date and time than i start doing whatever i need to do and boom shut down. so i try to boot it up again and it shut down during the middle of the boot i have to do this ten more time before it boots up i am complete lost i have tried everything and still don't know what it could be i was going to take it to apple to see if i can get a free diagnose but would rather figure it out without have to drive there i just replaced the battery not to long ago and hard drive with hard drive wire in the past month but this used to do it before just more frequently now. any help is greatly received thank you so much

Are you running from battery or is this happening with the MagSafe plugged in?

when it is plugged in it will make it to osx when it isn't just boots and shut off

From the sounds of it your battery is bad or you have a charging logic problem.

Lets see if we can do some deeper diagnostics here. Install this gem of a free app: CoconutBattery. It will allow you to see the battery health as well as whats happening with the charging of it. With the MagSafe charger connected take a screenshot of the main screen so we can see whats happening. If you can do it again with just on the battery that would be great as well. Post both here so we can see them too.
