So...you can do it. Hold down volume key, and power button, until it boots into recovery mode. You can then choose to do a reset. However you won't be able to bypass the email and passcode setting. Samsungs finally starting to catch up to Apple, and have beefed up their security

Thank goodness for pure Android devices. At least there will never be iCloud lock. They actually make you enter a email address and password from recovery?! How does it even connect to the internet?

Looks like that's the case of the situation these days. Since it's so new, a buddy and I are thinking there might be a bounty, if we can crack their security

Check out these apps on the play store: Simple Factory Phone Reset and Phone Factory Reset. Sorry I couldn't get a link. Just search it on the play website. They work by using Android's built in setting.

I'll test em' on raspberry pi. It could use a factory reset. Or maybe this person could try it.
