Replacing Capacitors

Hello all,

I am replacing 2 bad capacitors in my 17" iMac G5 and was wondering if they have to be the exact 6.3v 1800uf. I read on another site that the volts could be 10v as long as it is a 1800uf. Is this correct? Or should I just stick to the same specs.

Thank you in advance,

Hi,

the important spec is the 1800µF. You can use any voltage of 6.3V and above.
