my emerson tv turn on and automatically turns off, i have tried unplugging and it didn’t fix my problem

Open the TV and see if there is dust in it. If there is, get a can or two of compressed air, and blow out the dust.

Could you please give us a little more discription? What happens prior to it shutting off, etc. Also, Are you sure that the timer off isn't on?

Timer not on tv was playing I changed channels IT turned itself off I turned it on now it will only turn on briefly and shuts off

I turn the tv on , a few seconds later it turns off. If I do it a few times it will stay on.

No I turn the TV on it stays on for a few seconds and then just turns off
