Touch stops working after screen timeout

So the screen breaks and digitizer is no longer responsive. I change the LCD/screen and turn the phone on. Te touch works, but as soon as screen times out and I press home or power button to turn back on, the touch no longer works... only works again after I reboot or soft reset the phone.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Is it a touch IC issue?

FYI I replaced the screen twice and happened to both my LCDs. Could it be a shocking coincidence that both LCDs are faulty?

TIA

It could be that both are defective.

It could also be that you have "Touch disease." Google it.

Try a *known good screen.* or cross check your two screens on a known good device. If you still have the same touch failure, then your issue lies on the board and you have to have it fixed by a micro soldering technician.
