Frozen reboot screen help

When I try to go to factory restore with holding "0" while starting my comp it freezes. I can not use any keys to do anything. I can only turn it on and shut it off. How do I get around this to restore factory sets?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Try going into f12 when you start up, and switch the BOOT.

cock_ram , You may need to start removing ,removable components 1 at a time. Pull out one of your Ram memory sticks/modules, reseat the one and try, same with hard drive, as well as battery. Also, check air vents where the fan draws in cool are from the outside, these get clogged up with dust/lint and will cause your machine to freeze due to overheating(clean, blow out). Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
