Disc tray is stuck open and will not close at all

My mom dropped my Xbox 360 and the disc tray will not go back in even when I hit the eject button.

The right side is pushed out a little more than the left but I've tried just pushing on it but still no results. The right side is more loose as well.

No videos or anything are showing me how to fix a stuck open disc tray. My disc tray cannot even slide in a little

Please please help. I really want to be able to play my Xbox 360 S

To fix this problem there should be a little tab under the left side you should undo that to take the tray all the way out, make sure you turn off your xbox(if it itsnt already) turn it on with the eject button so it can realign itself then turn off put it back in and turn it on then push the right side and allow it to slide back into place, open and close it a few times to ensure it's actually in place

This is for when it's shut closed. Try this anyways

If the disc drive is still stuck closed, insert the paper clip into the adjacent hole (to the right) and push again. If you're successful, the disc tray will pop out slightly. Plug the power cord into the back of the console. Press the eject button to open and close the disc drive.

This didn't work bc the right side of the disc tray is almost all the way out. Also bc this answer is for if the disc tray is stuck inside

To fix it you have to take it apart and realign it
